Back to School Checklist

1. Bookmark the Knights View PTA Website

  • You made it!  Now bookmark the homepage to stay up to date on upcoming events, teacher favorites, links to all the important websites you need, the calendar, information on fundraising and corporate matching, and volunteer opportunities!  


2. Sign Up For Parent Square & then Download the App in your App Store - Click Here!

  • It will be the one stop shop for ALL of your communication from the school, your teachers, and the PTA.
    You will receive your Principal Updates through this forum.

  • You will get messages from your teacher, and be able to send them messages as well!

  • All parents are expected to sign up to receive necessary communications. No other methods will be utilized.

  • Make sure you use the same email you use to sign in to Power School for them to link correctly! ​

​​3. Become a PTA Member- Click Here!

  • Being a member does not commit you to volunteering.  Becoming a member shows that you support your school and our mission to provide programs and services to your child, the staff, and the entire student body.


​4. Sign Up for the Here Comes the Bus Website & App (for mobile devices)  - Click Here!

  • This is an easy way to keep track of where your student's bus is in the morning and afternoons!

  • Our district code is 73877

5. Sign Up for PayPAMS Cafeteria Payment Account- Click Here! 

  • This is the system used to purchase school lunches in the cafeteria. Add money, see purchases and more.


6. Sign Up for an Account at OSP (Online School Payments) - Click Here! 

  • This website is the only method that Knights View Elementary uses to accept payment for all school fees during the year (field trips, etc.).

​7. Volunteer Sign Up - Click Here!

  • Take a moment and check out our current and future volunteer opportunities. 

  • If you have a little time or a lot, we have opportunities that can fit with your schedule!

  • All volunteers need to be registered with CMS. It’s free and easy! cmsvolunteers.com

8. Birthday Rock Sign Up - Click Here!

  • ​Sign up to paint our birthday rock for your student's special day.  

  • Please read through the directions for the rock on our rock page and then sign up for your special day!
